"Part of a Memory"

This was a very fun painting to do. 20x20. I love paintings that make you feel a certain way. Sold it the day I posted it online to one of my best friends uncles! Fastest sale yet.

Irises for my uncle

Commissioned to do a 16x20 of my Uncle Chris' Irises in their garden. Flowers are fun to do but you never imagine they have so many colors in them as they do.

Finished "Meeting Spot" Rice Lake Vancouver BC

Here is a picture of this painting I finished months ago. Have not been updating my blog due to lack of painting the last 3 months. Have a new ocean one in the works and will post it soon.

Oceans ~~~~~^^^~~~~

So I've realized I really like painting the ocean. It's relaxing and I don't have to be perfectionist about it. I have lots of fun and can just let go and focus on the music and the colors. I almost feel they give off a calming or free feeling to the viewer... or well at least for me. Also a little of my inspiration may have come from PJ songs, Eddie Vedder is always referencing the ocean. It kinda inspired me. So these are all the ocean paintings I've done so far. I have a few more in mind still to come. Keep in mind the color from the photograph doesn't do the painting justice. It looks much better in person. The greens and yellows don't seem to show up with my camera.
